Got a call at 10:15 tonight from Dr. Mark Clark, one of the guides, and he told me to get to Broiles Bridge! I brought a camera and a flashlight and found the big Pteronarcys Stoneflies were crawling out of the river in droves. Nymphs and adults covered the rocks. Posted a photo on www.conejosriveranglers.com for kicks. They were big, #8's! The river should see some fantastic fishing soon. Call us we will be checking more tomorrow on the location of the hatch.
All flows in this drainage have improved dramatically over the last couple of days. Thanks Jon Harp
