Report:
Conejos River Anglers will be posting some reports here for all of you to keep up with whats happening on the Conejos and its tributaries. We are excited to be here and the new shop will begin a 7 day week schedule June 1. Randy Keys and myself Jon Harp will be working with the guides to bring you accurate river reports which I hope will help your fishing success. At 12:00 today the water temp at Broiles Bridge was 43 degrees. Tea colored water with flows around 850 cfs. One of the guides was out yesterday with a kick seine and found alot of active stonefly nymphs close to the edges. Size 8 and dark. Fishing has been difficult on the lower river. For the adventurous, the meadow below Platoro Reservoir has had flows from 90 to 200 cfs and clearer water. All other streams in the area are high and muddy. The new Store is in Randy Keys old shop 5 miles west of Antonito, We will help you in whatever way we can, call or stop in. Thanks Jon Harp
