Early Spring contitions, we have been getting lots of snow, mixed with rain(unusual for this time of year) and the fishing is something to experience. Snow shoes warm clothes and lots of persistance, but the rewards are almost better than the usual summer catch.
I caught two really nice rainbows fat as footballs. And they put up a great fight. I used just wooly buggers black and olive mix. I did have other fish on, but they got away....
